Our aim

Everyone planning a trip to Lake DeSmet should be able to use this site. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What we do

  • Semantic headings, landmarks and a skip link on every page.
  • Text alternatives for photos, and color contrast checked against AA.
  • Every control works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus ring.
  • Motion is reduced when your device asks for it.
  • Automated accessibility checks run on our pages before changes ship.

Known limits

Some linked sites, including owner and booking pages, are outside our control. Map and weather data come from third parties and may not be fully accessible.
